We want everyone to be able to find embassy and consulate information on EmbassyPin, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We check pages with automated tools and by hand, and fix problems as we find them.
What we do
- Pages use proper headings, labels and language settings, and work with a keyboard.
- Text and buttons are designed for readable contrast; pages can be zoomed.
- Every listing is available as plain text in the A–Z directory, so you never need the map to find an address or phone number.
Known limitations
- The interactive maps are hard to use with a screen reader and some map pins are small. Use the directory or city lists instead; they contain the same information.
- Links to official government and partner websites lead to sites we don’t control.
Report a problem
If something on EmbassyPin is hard to use, please tell us through the contact form with the page address and what happened. We will try to fix it or give you the information another way.
